Les collections permanentes du Musée De Young sont également riches et passionnantes, venues des 4 coins de la terre.

Après l'expo, la journée est déjà bien longue, donc je me limite principalement à la peinture américaine en me promettant d'y revenir.

Dans le hall d'entrée de De Young Museum

On peut monter au 9eme étage, d'où on a des vues superbes sur la baie.

On aperçoit le Music Concourse à droite

Et en face le California Academie of Sciences et son architecture verte : toiture végétale,,  panneaux photiboltaiques, murs isolés avec des jeans recyclés. Une visite de plus à programmer pour la prochaine fois !

Enfin, le petit jardin des sculptures autour du Musée.
